Calgary is about a 1 hour drive from Downtown Calgary and about a 1.5 hour drive from Calgary international Airport.

From Canmore, the entrance to Banff national park in 5 minutes away and downtown Banff is a 20-25 minute drive

9. Where can I see wildlife? Spray Lakes Road up to Goat Creek parking lot usually has mountain goats, elk by the river, mountain goats on Norquay road. Never guaranteed. Not sure if you want to include this but it was a very popular question that was asked.
